Commonwealth
Hearing Aid Centers was established in
1999 by Dr. Gerald DuBrino. Dr. DuBrino was fitting
and servicing people in his community with an “in-home”
program for shut-ins who found it difficult to get
to an audiologist or hearing aid dispenser.
When
he started traveling as a national consultant to
dispensers, audiologists and Ear Nose and Throat
Doctors (ENTs), Dr. DuBrino began performing pro
bono work in the community part-time between his
travels.
Commonwealth
Hearing Aid Center, LLC began publishing ads in
the Roanoke Times to attract business and to let
the patients know where Dr. Harrill was practicing
because the Ocala, FL based company had taken all
of the records with them and he had no way of contacting
the former patients.
The
Ocala based company also owed a number of patients
refunds based on the Virginia Return Law. ...See

Although
they had no legal exposure to this debacle, Commonwealth
Hearing Center began paying back these people from
its own profits. Many have been paid back and Commonwealth
Hearing Center is continuing its refund policy.
Commonwealth
Hearing Aid Center has established a strong presence
in the community and will continue to help people
with hearing impairment for years.
We
fit people with quality hearing instruments in a
variety of styles and a wide range of prices to
fit anyone’s financial ability. Because of
Dr. DuBrino’s contacts in the industry, Commonwealth
Hearing Aid Center, LLC negotiates the best prices
with many major manufacturers throughout the country
and passes those low prices on to our clients.
Our
office manager, Mrs. Sandra Hudgins has been working
with Dr. Harrill since 1999. She has assisted him
in offering the best service in the area.
